If attending more than one horsemanship week in 2017, a $100 discount will be applied.
2018 Camps: July 2–7, July 9–14, August 6–11

Benefits: a leveled program that allows a camper to progress at his own speed; each level has a written and riding test, giving the camper a well-rounded week of experience and knowledge; beginners learn horsemanship basics, while veterans break and ride a young horse in their final week; one-on-one teaching by experienced wranglers who work well with horses and, more importantly, people; horse science classes that teach horsemanship skills such as roping, bucking, and conformation; five evening services and four morning chapel times that challenge each camper to take the next step in his spiritual growth; horse object lessons—many spiritual lessons can be learned from the events of the day; small numbers of campers mean a camper is never just a number, every camper receives individual attention by the staff

Highlights: the Shodeo after breakfast on Saturday is a great time for campers to test the skills that they have learned—parents and friends are invited to see the 9:00 a.m. Shodeo complete with grand entry, games, concessions, and clowns; bucking barrel and roping competitions on Friday night; great counselors who love their campers; the small, family-like atmosphere makes Horsemanship Camp fun to come back and see old friends; some of the best activities are available during the few times campers are not riding horses or learning about them.
